Evan Hirschbein, D.P.M specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, with an emphasis in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, and lower extremity trauma.
Dr. Hirschbein attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo as a biomedical engineer and graduated with a BS in Biology. He then completed his medical training at Temple University in Philadelphia, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. In medical school, he worked at a variety of sporting events, including the medical tent at the Boston marathon and Penn relays.
Dr. Hirschbein joined the Los Angeles Institute of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Inc. after a three-year surgical residency in foot and ankle surgery in the bay area. As a chief resident, he traveled to Vietnam for a medical mission, where he taught Vietnamese orthopedic residents in surgical management of the foot & ankle.
Dr. Hirschbein was born and raised in Southern California. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, playing basketball and cooking.
Dr. Hirschbein is available to see patients at the Northridge, Burbank, and Valencia offices.
